The Dead Sea Scrolls Today
VanderKam, James C. The Dead Sea Scrolls Today. Rev. ed. Grand Rapids, MI: William B. Eerdmans, 2010.
Why this matters here
James VanderKam's overview describes the Qumran discoveries and the varied genres of manuscripts found among the Dead Sea Scrolls. The chapter uses the work for the breadth of written materials preserved there, not as a direct claim about a universal canon.
